Performs scheduled, routine preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment/systems (including Automation and Fire and Security) under contract agreement by inspecting, adjusting, cleaning, and calibrating systems and checking out equipment to ensure it's in satisfactory working order. Completes maintenance, within assigned Labor Load PM hours, in a manner that reduces emergency calls and results in achieving the goal of zero call backs.3. Responds to emergency service calls as directed. Analyzes, trouble-shoots, repairs, and restores equipment/systems to full operation and recommends revisions when necessary for effectiveness. Alerts the Supervisor to equipment/systems requiring further analysis or potential replacement.4. Performs routine operational tests, remote systems and devices, and makes minor adjustments as needed to improve the equipment or system's efficiency.5. Assist with the start-up of new equipment or system installation and makes adjustments as needed to make the system operational. May plan schedules, and lay out basic electrical equipment installations, and assist in the start-up and check-out of new system installations.6. As directed, provides technical recommendations in support of sales representatives, conducting surveys or inspections. Provides sales leads to the sales groups where such opportunities are identified during the course of service work.7.
